Riding a snowmobile is easy and doesn’t require any previous training. However, to help you make the most of the experience, we offer two types of itineraries, each with two guaranteed departures:
Sport Itinerary – 650 km
A dynamic, sport-oriented adventure for experienced riders.
Designed for pilots with previous experience on individual motorbikes, this itinerary increases the technical difficulty of the tracks, as well as the distance and riding pace.
Discovery Itinerary – 500 km
A private expedition to the heart of the Finnish Arctic.
This route features more accessible trails and a gentler rhythm—perfect for couples or travelers seeking a more relaxed experience.

This fully guided 6-day, 5-night adventure is ideal for small groups of friends or couples looking for a unique experience far from typical tourist routes.
You’ll ride through snowy forests, frozen lakes, Oulanka National Park, and cross the Arctic Circle all the way to the Russian border. The journey is scenic, safe, and designed for all levels, with comfortable breaks, cozy accommodation, and traditional Lappish meals along the way.

How Does It Start?
Simply fly into Kuusamo, where we’ll welcome you with everything ready. From there, the circular expedition begins and ends in Ruka, our base of operations.

Itinerary 
Day 1 Kuusamo - Kuusamo - 0
Day 1:
Arrival in Kuusamo-Ruka: Arrival at Kuusamo airport. Reception by the team and transfer to the accommodation in Ruka.
Afternoon: Rest and acclimatization to the surroundings.
Evening: Welcome dinner at the accommodation. Presentation of the itinerary and meeting with the rest of the group.
Day 2 Salla - 120
Day 2:
Morning: Introduction to snowmobiles. Equipment check to ensure everything is in optimal condition.
Midday: First snowmobile tour from Ruka to Soumu (approx. 130 km). You will cross dense snowy forests and open fields, offering panoramic views of the Lapland landscape.
Lunch: Stop at a traditional shelter along the way for lunch and rest.
Afternoon: Arrival in Soumu, accommodation in a cozy hotel.
Evening: Dinner at the hotel, relaxation, and preparation for the next day of adventure.
Day 3 Salla - Himmerki - 150
Day 3:
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and departure by snowmobile towards Posio (approx. 90 km). The journey will take you across frozen lakes and snow-covered hills, passing through small villages.
Lunch: Lunch en route at a traditional shelter or typical spot.
Afternoon: Arrival in Posio and accommodation in a mountain hotel.
Evening: Typical dinner at the hotel and free time to explore the area.
Day 4 Himmerki - Kuntivaara - 100
Day 4:
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards IKK (approx. 100 km). Enjoy the snowy landscapes and panoramic views along the way.
Lunch: Lunch en route at a traditional spot or shelter.
Afternoon: Arrival at IKK and accommodation in a charming rural house. Experience a traditional Lappish sauna, followed by a revitalizing dip in the frozen lake. This ritual offers a profound sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Evening: Dinner at the accommodation and free time to relax.
Day 5 Kuntivaara - RUKAN - 50
Day 5:
Morning: Breakfast at the accommodation and departure towards Kuusamo-Ruka (approx. 100 km). Final journey enjoying the last landscapes of the region.
Lunch: Lunch en route at a typical spot or restaurant.
Afternoon: Arrival in Kuusamo-Ruka. Return of the snowmobiles.
Optional: Rally car driving on a frozen lake (price: €450). An exciting experience for those who want to add an extra adventure to their trip.
Evening: Farewell dinner with the group, celebration of the experience, and time to share memories.
Day 6 RUKAN -
Day 6:
Morning: Breakfast at the accommodation.
Midday: Transfer to Kuusamo airport for your return flight.
